Ralph Rudden
Ralph is chair of his local Community Association and sits on the Board of Irwell Valley Housing Association. He is also the Vice Chair of the Trafford Partnership.
Christine Aspinall
Christine has a wealth of experience of governance and committee work and has served as a Parish Council member of St John’s Church in Old Trafford for many years, acting as both secretary and an ordinary member Deanery Synod rep. Christine has served as Chair of VCAT for 4 years and is now Vice Chair. She has 25 years of experience working in the voluntary, community and faith sector managing St John’s Centre, a vibrant community hub. Christine has strategic management, recruitment, and funding skills and experience and at present serves as a member of the Finance & Strategic Sub-group for VCAT. Christine has a place on the Trafford Partnership and is involved with Trafford Community Learning partnership and other partnership groups across Trafford.
Joan Ball
Joan has lived in Sale for most of her life. Her professional background was in nursing and during this time she was involved both locally and nationally with Royal College of Nursing activities. She is now Vice-Chair of Citizens Advice Trafford Trustee Board, and Circuit Steward in the Sale Methodist Circuit. She has been secretary of Sale Choral Society and is a member of Sale Hand Bell Ringers.
Joanne Bennett
Joanne's background is in Social Services and recruitment. She is a Governor at Lime Tree School and is a member of the Sale Moor Village Residents Association. Joanne is also a member of Employment, Environment & Community Scrutiny Committee. She was elected as the councillor for Sale Moor in 2004 and is spokesperson on Adult Social Services.
Philip Gratrix
Philip has been involved with the Sale Moor Community Partnership since it was formed by Trafford Council Area Services. He is now a member of the management committee which was formed in September 2004. Philip has a wide knowledge of the Trafford Area. He has worked as a voluntary adviser of 15 years with the Citizens Advice Bureau. He is also a member of the Fare Share Panel for the Sale Moor Area.
Victor Holding
Victor has been Secretary and Treasurer of New Way Forward (formerly Trafford Association for Mental Health) for 10 years and is also Treasurer of Sale Moor Community Partnership. He is a retired Bank Manager having had 40 years experience in banking and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He is also a trained counsellor dealing with families of the terminally ill.
Eddie Kelson
Eddie is a retired insurance official. He has a wide experience of committee work and is an active member of the Trafford Patient & Public Involvement Forum and the 50 + Voice Network. He is vice-chair at two Trafford schools and a Justice of the Peace. Leisure interests include an allotment and choral singing.
Mark Nesbitt
Following a career in the Army, Mark became involved in the voluntary sector in 1994. He is currently the Secretary of Manchester BME Network. Mark provides consultancy services to social housing providers, private companies and statutory agencies focussing on areas of engagement and inclusion.
Brian Shaw
Brian is a Councillor for Davyhulme West Ward. He is the Chair of the Overview & Scrutiny Core Committee. He also sits on the boards of Age Concern Trafford and Trafford Law Centre and is a governor at Acre Hall Primary School. Brian is a director of BDS Group providing training and consultancy specialising in Health & Safety.
Jackie Wilkinson
Jacki is a Councillor for Broadheath Ward. She is a member of the Health & Wellbeing Select Committee, the Education Overview & Scrutiny Committee and the Licensing Committee. Now retired, her career was in pensions, dealing with large occupational schemes. She is also a member of the newly formed Broadheath Partnership. Jacki enjoys gardening if time permits.
