2 x Family Support Community Development Workers- Homestart Lift

 Are you someone who could make a real difference to families with multiple and complex needs in Cheshire West and Chester and Cheshire East?

Are you highly skilled in project management, family supportive community development or administration? Looking for a new challenge?

Home-Start Central Cheshire, on behalf of the LIFT Partnership Board, is seeking to recruit 4 self-motivated people to join our team of voluntary, community and faith sector partners, linked into the two Children’s Trusts. You will develop and deliver services and activities in innovative and appropriate ways to families and with families, with the focus on positive outcomes for their children.

2 x Family Support Community Development Workers
Under the guidance of the Project Manager you will undertake proactive and targeted work, with other agencies and organisations, to identify families not generally accessing support, using the LIFT criteria basic assessment. You will support the referral of families to the most appropriate provision to meet their needs, supporting key worker organisations and capacity building other local organisations to enable them to deliver services more effectively.

All posts are fixed term for 1 year in the first instance, with the possibility of annual renewal for a further 2 years (3 years in total), dependent upon continued funding from the Big Lottery after successful achievement of the project’s objectives year on year. Job-share and secondments will be considered.
