Fixed Term Contract for 3 years subject to funding

As a senior member of the YMCA’s youth and community team you will manage and lead the development of projects, in various neighbourhoods of Bolton to meet the social education needs of children, young people and their families.
Using outreach, detached, and building based community settings you will further develop the partnership with St. Andrews Methodist church, in Hall ith Wood and surrounding areas to develop a neighbourhood base in the area from which the YMCA, in partnership with the church and other agencies, can support local people to address the social and economic challenges facing their community.
You will be a JNC nationally qualified youth worker with a commitment to the Christian ethos of the YMCA. You will have strong youth and community work skills, as 60% of this post is face to face work, and have experience of managing staff and volunteers
