Community Engagement Worker- Bolton CVS

Bolton Community and Voluntary Services (Bolton CVS) is an independent local charity offering information, training and advice to over 1000 groups in a diverse community, as well as managing projects to meet the needs of volunteers, health and care related groups and community groups.

They are looking to recruit a Community Engagement Worker

28 Hours per week
NJC Scale 3/4: £15,725- £19,126 pro rata
Temporary Contract to 31st March 2013 (with potential extension to 30th June 2013)

The post holder will work as a team member to empower, support and inform local people. The focus of the community engagement work is currently health related. You will have the ability to deliver presentations and facilitate meetings as well as be able to develop positive relationships and provide support to people from diverse communities in Bolton.
