Senior Community and Youth Development Worker / Operations Manager.

Fixed Term Contract for 1year (ongoing subject to funding)

Based at at 125 Deansgate, the purpose of this post is to manage the day to day operations of Bolton YMCA’s Youth and Community Centre and associated outreach work to engage, empower and develop children, young people and adults who are disadvantaged or at risk of social exclusion.

You will be responsible for managing staff and volunteers, delivery of face to face youth work, ensuring efficient management of service agreements and contracts and ensuring that all requirements of monitoring, evaluation and quality standards are implemented and maximizing revenue from YMCA trading activity.

You will be a JNC nationally qualified youth worker with a commitment to the Christian ethos of the YMCA. You will be an experienced youth and community worker with experience of managing staff and volunteers.
