Vacancy: PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR- Methodist Action

Salary: £22000 – 25000
Fixed Term Contract until 28th Feb 2013 (with a view to extending the contract if pilot is successful)
Methodist Action has received funding to work in partnership with Manchester City Council and statutory and voluntary partners across the city to establish a Private Rented Scheme. The scheme will give prolific and priority offenders access to private rented accommodation, through establishing good working links with private landlords, and utilising support mechanisms for the client-group to live independently.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in partnership with Manchester City Council and Private Landlords, to offer those in a housing need across the city an opportunity to have stable, affordable and safe accommodation. You will have a sound knowledge of the social care sector and issues affecting those who are at risk of re offending, experience of communicating and working alongside a variety of statutory and voluntary support agencies in Manchester , and the ability to negotiate with, and maintain effective relationships with various partners.
The post requires a satisfactory enhanced CRB check.
