Deafblind UK social groups: Queens Diamond Jubilee Celebration Fundraiser
Members of Deafblind UK social groups in Manchester, Trafford, Bury and Oldham will celebrate 60 years of the Queen’s reign this June with a tea party at Manchester Deaf Centre - Booth Street East (off Oxford Road near to Royal Northern College of Music), Manchester, M13 9GH
The day starts 1st June 2012 at 11.30am and is open to all, with opportunities to chat with members of the groups and find out more about their activities throughout the year. All proceeds from the day will contribute to the groups’ transport costs, enabling them to plan activities further afield and making it possible for isolated members to be transported to and from the group.
If you would like more information about joining the groups, or are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact Group Coordinator Nikki Spiers – text/call 07932 156 373
or email nikki.spiers@deafblind.org.uk .
