Trafford LINk: Local Involvement Network

VCAT is the host organisation for Trafford LINk: Local Involvement Network. It is a network which has been set up to give people a stronger voice in local health and social care services. The network's role is to gather people's views about those services, and work with those who plan and run them to ensure better health and social care in Trafford.

Trafford LINk's vision is for a strong, active and diverse network that provides a positive and constructive challenge to local health and social care services. We strive to be well connected and well respected, earning our place at the heart of planning, commissioning and reviewing processes.

Trafford LINk membership is open to everyone, including members of the public, individuals, community groups and networks, carers, support groups and faith groups.

Participants will have different interests and abilities to take part in the work of Trafford LINk. Some people will have wide interests and with time and energy to offer. Others may have specific interest and very little time available. Whatever your situation and views you are an equal participant and are welcome.

Trafford Youth LINk
Trafford Youth LINk gathers young people’s views of what health means to them, how they can be encouraged to lead healthier lives, and aims to encourage them to have a say on health or social care services they access. By working with young people we can identify areas for improvement and act upon them in the most appropriate way.
