Trafford Citizens Advice provide advice and information to people who live or work in the borough of Trafford. The service is Free, Confidential and Impartial. The also work to try and bring about changes to policies and practices that are causing difficulty to their clients.

Citizens Advice Trafford operates a telephone and information line which is available 10-4 Monday to Wednesday. The service is staffed by fully trained advisers. Telephone: 0844 4994103

Trafford Carers Centre is a not-for-profit independent, voluntary organisation. We are a limited company by guarantee (no. 4695523) and a registered charity (no. 1102075). Our services are all free and everything you tell us will be kept in confidence. We are here to help all carers and former carers living in Trafford.

Trafford Carers Centre is based in Stretford Memorial Hospital, Old Trafford and was established in 1996 in order to provide a comprehensive support service for informal carers living within the metropolitan borough of Trafford.

The aims of Trafford Carers Centre are:

  • To provide information, advice and support to all carers, former carers and those working with and for carers in and around the metropolitan borough of Trafford, aiming to improve carers' physical, psychological and social lives.
  • To enable carers and former carers to have an independent voice to positively and effectively influence the development of relevant local services.
  • To promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of carers, former carers and those working with and for carers in and around the metropolitan borough of Trafford and in particular the advancement of education and furtherance of health and the relief of poverty, distress and sickness.

Trafford Tenants & Residents Federation is a voluntary organisation representing residents across Trafford. They offer independent advice and support and take up issues that could be affecting communities throughout the Borough of Trafford. They are an umbrella group that represent residents' needs. This includes individual residents. The aim of the Federation is to ensure service providers in Trafford are working together to improve neighbourhoods.
