New Life For A Gorse Hill Institution as Methodist Church reopens to the community

Gorse Hill Methodist Church on Wesley Street has reopened to the community after a short period of closure.

It is fast becoming a hub for community activity and worship once again.

As well as hosting Target Cafe every two weeks, there is an Acoustic cafe, run by Terry Snowden, and a growing roster of other local groups are now using the space for meetings, craft events and social gatherings.

Regular worship will take place on Sundays and there is also a coffee morning every Wednesday, where all are welcome to drop in and find out more.

The reopening of Gorse Hill will be positive for the local community, providing a much needed and well located community space with a welcome for all.
